Sad to say, but as the rest of the world improves their high speed rail systems we here in the U.S. are still stuck in traffic or delayed at the airports.
WIRED has a post of how the AVE (high speed) has a new train from Barcelona to Madrid (315 miles) that can travel in 2 hours 38 minutes cutting four hours from the time it took the old train( it was probably and Amtrak).
California will make an attempt for a
High Speed train in this year's November ballot, notwithstanding Arnold taking it off as in the past. So if the measure makes it on the ballot this November, please don't forget to vote.
